In the quiet of my mind

your song, sweeter than honey,

drips tenderly on memories

when, my eyes tasted your beauty.

Come enter mind dwelling,

layered in anticipation,

draped in wanting and desire

to feast on your bounty.

Bring to me your joy,

your happiness, your glow,

that lightens my burden,

causing my body to float.

Shrouded in mystical dreams,

my vision sees rainbows,

with pots of gold that gleams

just beyond reach it glows.

Yet at my fingertips, I touch

your flowing locks of hair,

and realize just how much

treasure lies here near my lair.
